Sea Urchins
Shibori dyed silk, felted wool, silk thread, Japanese glass seed beads, cold cast glass

Blue waves were created with a Shibori dyeing techniques on silk habotai and silk gauze . I fabricated the sea urchins from cold cast glass. The embroidery is hand dyed silk thread executed with a Russian hollow needle technique.
