This tapestry image of a sea kelp frond was woven using torn, acid dyed strips of habotai silk and a Swedish knotting technique on a linen weft with a 15 sett. This means nothing unless you are a weaver yourself , if you are you'll know that means the work progresses at an inch an hour...
