Glass block with embedded glass inclusions and glass powder drawing.
The branching coral and seaweed were sculpted separately and sunk into layers of blue and turquoise molten glass. Cobalt glass powder was built up in whisper thin layers to form the image of "Ocean Spirit" so it seems she is emerging from the sea.
